A page of main six in lps version with the pets above their heads ( to show who is who ) and for example: Penny Ling (mini image) (pony version image) Fluttershy (mini image) You should make that and give me the link but all the main six
"Penny its a blank flank I have no Idea of how will her cutie mark could be..." - a ribbon? Though might be a hell to draw... Btw, is it a coincidence that Penny Ling strongly resembles Fluttershy here? ))))
Other ponies Hasbro created, in both animated and figure form, often have repeating cutie marks. Your pony doesn't need to be the only one with that specific one. The only exemption being if you were the one to create the actual mark from scratch.
Just a thought. I mean look through all the gens! Not only are there potentially shared cutie marks, but names as well. Crazy!
I suppose so. Just off putting seeing the same mark on a different pony. I had one person I follow make the cutie mark so maybe he did get it from another, I don't know. But it does suck to see something one made being used as a broad collection of usable cutie marks for others who will put no thought into it and rather cut and paste just to save time and rather have someone else do the work. To me it ruins creativity and individuality, ironically what cutie marks are meant to represent.
True. But if its really just a character who is not normally a pony, its not too big of a deal though. More like an alternate universe.
And it really doesn't take away much from creativity or individuality. Many ponies with similar or the same cutie mark throughout the generations act very differently from each other. They are individuals despite the same mark. Just look at G1 Applejack vs. G4 Applejack- they are the same but very very different. Its not about looks, but character.
So I talked to the artist who drew my OC. He did find that picture (not sure what source) and he did trace it and colour it in. I am at a wrong here. And just a quick thing regarding my talk of individuality and creativity, it was more pointed towards the ones who make the OC and not the pony character themselves.
Its all cool. But OCs and the brand name ones are pretty much the same to me. To me all ponies are color swaps with different personalities- Like Care Bears! But that still doesn't make them any less cute though. I still love 'em!
I definitely understand where you are coming from though.
